Erlan da Costa Macedo, known for the nickname of “Boquinha”, was convicted for the murder of Gabriel Barreto de Oliveira, 28, 7 and 14 days in prison.

The crime was tried by the Judgment Council of the 2nd Court of the Jury Court and Military Audit, which received the complaint by the Public Prosecution Service of Acre.
The man was convicted of joining criminal organization, and for qualified homicide, and must serve his sentence in the closed regime, and cannot appeal the decision enjoying freedom.
Macedo was, accompanied by a fellow, to the victim’s residence, which is located at Travessa da Garça, in the Boa Vista neighborhood, Sobral region, in 2023.
The crime would have been motivated by revenge, as Gabriel would be allegedly committing thefts where he lived. Erlan would be one of the main leaders of a faction in the region.
Erlan da Costa Macedo’s defense can still appeal the sentence.
