Prohibition of animal imports

The imports of all living animals bred in Hungary and Slovakia from 1 March, the import of reproductive products obtained after 1 March from animals kept in these two countries, animal products, by -animal products that are not intended for human consumption, and plant feed and straw from Hungary and Slovakia are prohibited temporarily prohibited the import of all living animals.

The entry of vehicles used to transport animals or animal products that have passed through Hungary and Slovakia is only allowed if disinfection has been carried out before entering Croatia.
