With the return of the hot days and the summer holidays in sight, the Algarve earns again a new life that feels not only on the beaches, but also on the tables. One of the milestones of haute cuisine in the region, already distinguished with a Michelin star, has just reopened the doors after five months closed during the low season.
New season, new proposals
Situated in Odiáxre, at the Resort Palmares Ocean Living & Golf Clubhouse, Ald Sud is a space for fine dining and returns to the activity with renewed energy. The reopening took place at the end of March, marking the beginning of a new season that promises to surprise with a renovated menu, improved decoration and an extended time.
A letter that honors the sea Algarvio
Cita Louis Anjos, chef of Al Sud, who clarifies that “with a location like ours and being in the Algarve, made perfect sense to have a sea -root menu.” The new gastronomic proposal bets strongly on local ingredients, reinterpreted with high -kitchen techniques, and intends to offer a sensory trip through the region’s sea flavors.
The letter now available features two tasting paths, one with six moments and one with eight, the latter being the most complete and immersive version. Each dish is designed to extol the essence of the Algarve, with touches of innovation and creativity that maintain the restaurant in the forefront of national cuisine.
Renewed environment with privileged view
The experience, however, is not limited to the dish. The decoration of the space suffered a upgrade that reinforces your sophisticated and welcoming identity. The covered terrace, with a privileged view of the Lakes Bay and the Alvor estuary, complements the intimate atmosphere of the restaurant, ideal for memorable dinners.
According to Al Sud those responsible, “each of the moments of tasting is surprising and special in its own way.” The dishes are described as explosions of taste and authenticity, evoking affective memories of Algarve cuisine, while providing a new perspective on sea products.
We recommend:
Every detail is thought to the detail
“All dishes are meticulously thought and served, so that the whole process to the first fork is rewarding and pleasurable,” says the restaurant’s communication representatives, underlining the care with every detail of the service.
The eight -time menu is available by 160 euros and there is still the possibility of wine harmonization for another 95 euros. A complete experience for good -table connoisseurs who want to dive the best that southern Portugal has to offer.
Exclusive restaurant
With capacity for only 24 people, Al Sud bets on a personalized and exclusive service. Reservations are mandatory and can be made by telephone, and the space is open for dinners from Wednesday to Saturday.
A gastronomic experience by the sea
This return marks not only the reopening of a restaurant, but also the celebration of the algarve identity through High Gastronomy. Al Sud asserts itself as a compulsory destination for those looking for more than one meal: a true sensory experience by the sea.
