The São Paulo Court ordered influencer Pablo Marçal (PRTB) to pay R $ 30,000 to federal deputy Guilherme Boulos (PSOL-SP) for moral damages. The decision, signed by Judge Anderson Cortez Mendes, of the 9th Civil Court, considers that Marçal released false information during the pre-campaign to the City of São Paulo, in July 2024.

In an interview with “Os Podcast”, Marçal accused Boulos, without evidence, to command a criminal rental scheme of R $ 700 from poor families for irregular properties – allegedly invaded under the responsibility of the deputy. According to the sentence, the statements were offensive, unfounded and were intended to tarnish the image of the political opponent.

The magistrate also determined that Marçal remove the content from social networks (Instagram, Facebook, X and Tiktok) and abstain from new publications with the same content. In case of non -compliance, there is a daily fine of R $ 1,000, limited to R $ 50 thousand.

Boulos had requested $ 50,000 in compensation, but the judge set the amount at $ 30,000, to be monetarily corrected. Marçal was also sentenced to the payment of procedural costs and attorney’s fees. He can still appeal the decision.

The influencer was sought through his press office to comment on the decision, but had not returned until the publication of this text. The space is still open.
