Lamb, cabrito and outlets highlighted in the gastronomy of Loulé

The municipality of Loulé promotes, from 11 to 27 April, the fortnight of the gastronomic “eat d’ção – Passover flavors”, an initiative that celebrates the paschal tradition through the richness and diversity of local gastronomy.

During these days, restaurants and pastries from the whole county will prove the best of Louletana cuisine, with traditional and contemporary recipes in which the lamb, the goat and the folks are the great protagonists.

Through specially prepared menus, participating establishments promise a trip of flavors that combine local products with chefs’ creativity, valuing the region’s culinary heritage and encouraging the consumption of proximity ingredients.

The initiative is part of the municipal strategy for promoting gastronomic tourism, while streamlining the local economy, involving producers, cooks and traders.

The municipality invites residents and visitors to participate in this celebration at the table, exploring the typical dishes and rediscovering the flavors that are part of Loulé’s identity.

The list of adherent and respective Menus establishments can be consulted on the site and social networks of the municipality.
