“I went to the port of Santos, there in Guarujá, to start the work of the tunnel. It is a shame, Sao Paulo is the richest state of the Federation, the amount of Palacita between Santos and Guarujá. It is not possible a governor, a president or a mayor do not see.he said.
Tarcísio and Lula were together on February 27 at the launch event of the announcement of the Santos-Guarujá submarine tunnel. The governor is one of the former president’s main allies (PL).
On the occasion, by citing several infrastructure, mobility and housing projects that should be delivered by 2026, the governor mentioned the partnership with the president and said that the head of the federal executive showed concern about the situation of Park das Parafitas.
The Palafitas Park project began in December 2024 and foresees the construction of 60 housing units in an area of 1,000 square meters in the Vila Gilda Community in Santos. The venture has investments from the federal and state governments.
