The Hummingbird School of Art and Culture and Cia Cata-Culture Culture promote a series of cultural workshops during April, offering learning and improvement opportunities in various artistic areas. Activities include acrobatic fabric, creative economy, redneck marriage, urban dances and creative entrepreneurship.
Acrobatic fabric workshop
Taught by Professor Aldemir de Oliveira, at the João Donato Arts Plant, the classes take place on Sundays, on April 6, 13, 20 and 27, from 14h to 18h, for participants from 14 years. The circus mode develops strength, flexibility and artistic expression. Schedule class: (68) 99244-7979.
Hip Hop Urban Dance Workshop
Taught by Professor Kelvin Lopes, the workshop takes place at UFAC’s Performing Arts Block on March 12, 13, 19 and 20, always on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 19h to 21h. Participants will learn hip hop techniques and urban styles. Schedule class: (68) 99236-1489.
Creative Economy Workshop
With Professor Luiily Almeida, the workshop takes place at the Cowor Coworking House on April 15, 16 and 17, from 18h to 21h. The proposal is to exploit concepts and strategies to stimulate business creativity and innovation. Schedule class: (68) 99900-6557.
Country wedding workshop
Professor Danilo Guimarães will conduct the workshop in Youth Square, on April 26 and 27, from 14h to 18h. The activity aims to rescue popular traditions and prepare artists for thematic staging. Schedule class: (68) 99224-7566.
Creative Entrepreneurship Workshop
Also with Professor Luiily Almeida, the workshop takes place at Cowor Coworking on April 21, 22 and 23, from 18h to 21h. The goal is to enable participants to develop sustainable business based on creativity. Schedule class: (68) 99900-6557.
The workshops have the support of the National Culture Fund, Urban House, João Donato Art Plant and Federal University of Acre (UFAC). The accomplishment is made by the Hummingbird School and Cia Cata-Ventos de Cultural in partnership with the Ministry of Culture (MINC) and the federal government.
For the president of the school and director of Cia Cata -ventos, this is an opportunity to strengthen the local culture.
