Last Saturday, the 5th, a single-engine plane starred in a cinema-worthy scene when performing an emergency landing in the middle of BR-101, in the region of Garuva, in northern Santa Catarina. The unexpected maneuver surprised the drivers who circulated through the busy highway, but fortunately ended without any injured.
The aircraft departed from Garuva to Joinville when he suffered a engine failure. Faced with the emergency, the pilot had no choice but to look for the asphalt as a makeshift track – and managed to land safely, narrowly avoiding the travel cars.
