Tavira, recognized as a representative community of the Mediterranean diet, UNESCO Immaterial Cultural Heritage, hosts from April 25 to 27, the Spring Show, an initiative that runs in the city’s historic center – on Cais Street, Gardens do Coreto and Palmeiras, and Ribeira Market.
With about 100 exhibitors distributed by 60 stands, the event stands out for the diversity of traditional products and local and regional handicrafts, celebrating the authenticity and cultural identity of the county.
The spring show is part of the 51st anniversary of April 25th, which will start with the range of the flags in the council’s paços, followed by the official ceremony at 10:30, at the Álvaro de Campos Municipal Library.
The session will have interventions by the President of the Municipal Assembly, José Manuel Guerreiro, the representatives of political parties with a seat in the local agencies and, to close, the President of, Ana Paula Martins.
