The registration system of the foreign police continues to collapse and complicates people’s lives. TASR informed Daniela Piršelová, a spokeswoman for the Union of Slovakia (ÚMS). According to the DEMS, measures have not been taken to this day to solve the problem. She has already opened the topic with the Ombudsman.
“Despite partial solutions, the situation has not yet improved. Desperate people ask for any assistance, especially in situations when it comes to children or the unavailability of healthcare. At the same time, we record the great abuse of the distresses of these persons by suspicious groups, even on the border of blackmail, ”said the President of the Union Richard Rybníček.
The Central Committee has pointed out that the entries of children in kindergartens and primary schools are currently held, which is still worseing the situation with the registration system. “However, the efforts of parents to enroll children if they are not provided by the correct documents from the foreign police, however, is in vain. Despite any helpfulness in cities, these children cannot enter schools and fulfill school”Explained Piršelová. The failure to enter children in schools can also worsen their condition, but also bring secondary problems for cities, such as an increase in minor crime.
The Association of Municipalities promotes one of the two solutions of the situation, either competent should ensure the functionality of the system as presumed by the law, or they should come up with an alternative solution to the situation. Rybníček added that the condition is unbearable and desperate foreigners, especially mothers with children, turn to cities. He stressed, however, that municipalities had no help. At the same time, ÚMS believes that the solution to the situation is also in the interest of the Ministry of the Interior.
The poor situation at the alien police drew attention to the Central Police in October last year. There are not enough terms in the police reservation system and there is also a buying with them. The Ministry of the Interior claims that he is gradually taking measures to stabilize the situation. At the same time, the deadlines are a limited number for the capacity of the foreign police, which cannot be easily increased, because the foreigner police are working with the professional agenda.
