The (Attorney General of the Union) asked on Tuesday night (8) to investigate Deputy Gilvan of the Federal (-Es) for the statement in which he said the death of President Luiz Inacio da Silva (PT).
The speech was made hours earlier during a session of the Public Security Commission of the House of Representatives, when discussing the excerpt from the 2022 coup plot investigations dealing with the murder plan of President Lula and the Minister of (Supreme Court), Alexandre de Moraes, alleging the absence of evidence of such a plan.
“For me, I want more is that Lula dies! I want him to go to the fifth of hell! It’s a right of mine. I won’t say I’m going to kill the guy, but I want him to die!”
In the order, the AGU informs that the statements may configure, in theory, crimes of incitement to crime and threat, demanding ascertaining the competent bodies. The document also questions whether the deputy’s demonstrations exceed the limits of parliamentary immunity.
“I hope you have a ‘cardia’ attack. Because not even the devil wants this misfortune of this president who is sinking our country. And I want more that he really dies,” he said.
In the session in question, the commission approved a bill that prohibits the use of firearms by the Personal Security agents of the President of the Republic and the Ministers of State.
In addition to sending the news in fact to the Federal Police and the (Attorney General’s Office), the AGU determined the immediate establishment of internal administrative procedure to investigate the fact, noting that the adopted measures “aim to safeguard the integrity of the republican institutions and the democratic rule of law”.
The Minister of Institutional Relations, Gleisi Hoffmann, manifested herself against the parliamentary’s stance, stating that “Bolsonarism has no respect for democracy” or commitment to Brazil.
