This is one of those salads that never gets bored. It looks great, it tastes even better. Perfect for the upcoming Easter.
- 4 lobes are followed by marinated (preferably matias),
- 3 potatoes,
- 2 carrots,
- 2 beets,
- 4 eggs,
- 1 onion,
- 150 g of yellow cheese (e.g. cheddar or gouda),
- mayonnaise (approx. 6-8 tablespoons),
- salt and pepper to taste,
- parsley for decoration.
Cook potatoes, carrots and beets until tendercool and cut. Hardly cook the eggs (about 8-10 minutes), peel off the shell.
Grate potatoes, carrots, beets and eggs on a thick grater – preferably each ingredient for a separate bowl. Also chop the onion finely. He follows the patches into cubes. Cut the cheese into stripes or grate.
Arrange the ingredients in the order in a transparent bowl or salad bowl (Each layer gently salt and grasp to taste and spread thinly with mayonnaise): chopped herring, onions, potatoes, carrots, beets and eggs.
Sprinkle the top with cheese and decorate with chopped parsley. Put the bowl for a few hours in the fridge (preferably for the whole night) so that the flavors bite. Serve the salad with yellow cheese chilled.
