Cristiano Ronaldo recently hired a new bodyguard, Claudio Miguel Vaz, a Portuguese with military formation and extensive experience in personal security.
With a curriculum that includes work with footballers Rafael Leão and Gelson Martins, as well as artists such as rapper NGA, Claudio Miguel Vaz is known for adopting a firm and determined stance, being described by the Spanish press as someone “without fear of nothing”.
According to the newspaper Brand, the change arises following Ronaldo’s growing concerns about his family’s safety due to alleged recent threats. The Portuguese star will have chosen to dispense with the two elements that protected him so far, replacing them with Claudio Miguel Vaz, considered more prepared to deal with risk situations.
A recent episode, during Fashion Week in Paris, caught the eye: following Georgina Rodríguez, Claudio used a flashlight to make photographers work at the time of arrival.
