The first death by (H5N1) was announced on Tuesday (8/4) by its health authorities.
The victim was a three -year -old baby girl from Koawila. It is the first and the only, so far, of the flu of birds in a man in Mexico.
The child succumbed to, the State Secretary (Minister of Health) in Koawila, Elud Agire, clarified.
“No one was diagnosed positive” in the girl’s environment and between the medical and nursing staff who contacted him, he said.
No other suspected case of bird flu has been identified in a man in Mexico, Mr Agire insisted.

Two more people because of H5N1 were reported in Cambodia this year. The authorities also spoke.

Infection of people by the virus can cause severe disease and can also cause death, according to (WHO).
The H5N1 executive, found in 1997, as well as the H7N9 executive, are the ones that mainly attribute the transmission of bird flu to humans, points out the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Low risk with proper cooking
WHO considers the danger raised by H5N1 for the general population low, and assures that eating meat, poultry and eggs, is not dangerous if the products are properly cooked.
