Russia expelled two Romanian diplomats as retaliation for the March steps of Bucharest, which accused Moscow of violating diplomatic rules.
Russia announced the expulsion of two Romanian diplomats on Wednesday. The country must leave the military attribution of the embassy and his representative and, according to the Russian Diplomacy department, this is a retaliatory step towards Bucharest. The Russian Foreign Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that it had summoned the Romanian Chargé d’Ffaires and told her that it had announced two mentioned employees of the Romania diplomatic mission for unwanted persons.
“This measure is a response to the previous unfounded decision of the Romanian party to declare a military attaché and his assistant at the Russian embassy in Bucharest for unwanted persons,” the ministry said.
