Carla Dualib, SOFTSWISS Business Manager, praised the new text on sports betting regulation in Brazil during an interview with the podcast of Poder360 In Bis Sigma Americas, held in São Paulo (22.ab.2025). “Our government has done an excellent job, but adaptations will be done along the way,” said the executive, who has been operating in the company since July 2023.
Dualib spoke about the gray zone where the sector was so far. “Everyone was in the market, it was without regulation. Things were blinded”he said. According to her, the responsible game is one of the pillars of the company.
The executive, which has an MBA in marketing, explained that SOFTSWISS offers monitoring tools for users, aiming to identify addict or harmful behaviors. Dualib stressed the importance of categorizing platforms as entertainment and not as an investment.
“I think this market tends to grow more and commercially. Many investors will come from out, from outside and Brazil”he said.
Business Manager also commented on its experience as a female leadership in the predominantly male Igaming sector. “It’s still a very masculine and still macho market that needs to look at women in the segment with more respect”these.
The Brazilian Igaming Summit is the main meeting of companies and Igaming, Bettech and sports bets in Brazil. The event will take place from April 7 to 10, 2025 at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo, and brings together national and international experts to discuss the direction of regulation and business opportunities in the country.
