One of the highlights of the sixth and last season of the series “The Handmaid’s Tale”the actor Josh Charles53, said he agreed to participate in the completion of history by support of the protagonist actress Elisabeth Moss42.
“If it wasn’t for Lizzie, I don’t know if I would be able to get into this and do it, I just felt that I really trusted her when she said ‘I promise you that you will do well, it’s a great group, everyone is very warm and friendly, and we’ll be enthusiastic and we’ll treat you well, you’ll enjoy the experience.” CNN.
Charles will play an important role in the new episodes. He will bring Nick’s father -in -law to life (Max Minghella)and one of the most important commanders of fictitious Gilead.
The actor then detailed the welcoming environment that the cast created for him.
“It was something scary, you know, you never know what you are getting into when people have been together for so long. You arrive and your fear is that everyone is a little tired and hate themselves,” joked the actor.
“But it was the opposite of that. It’s just a group of really committed and great people, all very interesting, very talented. They treated me incredibly well, generously and warmly. I’m eternally grateful for it.”
“It was four really lovely months, going back and forth from New York to Toronto and spending time with these guys and working with people like Max, Bradley, Yvonne and Elisabeth,” he said.
The new season of the series “The Handmaid’s Tale” brings the determination of June (Elisabeth Moss) in the struggle to defeat Gilead once and for all. While Luke (OT Facts) e Moira (Samira Wiley) join resistance, Serena (Yvonne Straw) tries to reform the regime from the inside. At the same time, Commander Lawrence (Bradley Whitford) and Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd) face their own dilemmas and nick (Max Minghella) is subjected to hard tests of character.
