Last year, the technological businesswoman Anna Navarro, through which people like her pass, entrepreneurs who have lived outside – in her case the United States – to be treated again in her primary care centers when she returned to Catalonia. It turns out, said Navarro, which took more than two months to regularize his situation on his return and that, as they told him in the ambulatory, “if it were immigrant they would have attended me immediately.”
The comparison between such a horrible situation described by Navarro, who by the way declares the second highest heritage of the entire Parliament – with a Porsche Macan included – and the one that immigrants live is not the only hit that the deputy is known. On their bench many remember when he regretted that the Catalans “complain a lot” but then they have the university “very cheap” or when, in an act with Puigdemont, he presumed to always speak well of Barcelona to “many executives” Americans who later bought floors “to come to retire here.” These particular recipes for improving access to the university or to combat the galloping housing crisis do not seem to bother the party’s dome too much, although more than one groupmate admits that Navarro has spent in a very short time of being a star signing to a little less than a bass.
Anna Navarro thing would be another amusement of those regularly offered by Catalan politics if it were not because her words connect greatly with the feeling of a part of the population increasingly remote from the problems of the majority and more focused on giving free rein to her own ambitions despite the one who weighs. In these same pages that Catalonia is being right at a unfeasible rhythm and did so by putting examples of different polls of the Generalitat opinion studies center. A society that boasts of opening and leading great social advances seems to have now stuck in miserrimas things such as the skin color of their children or their religious feelings. For example, those who admit feeling uncomfortable with which a rod of yours has as a couple someone of Maghreb origin is already 41%, six more points than a year ago. Something very similar happens with couples of gypsy origin. And, of course, those who feel more discomfort with the eventual son -in -law Maghreb are, in this order, the voters of Aliança Catalan, Vox, PP and Junts.
Catalonia gives more and more signs of feeling dangerously comfortable installed in the anger and blaming all this to those who are different, whether they are magic, gypsies or transsexuals. And the sad thing is that for some party, not only those of the extreme right, the easy resource is to point to these groups instead of focusing on solving the background problems. Having done so, perhaps they would have saved Anna Navarro to spend such horrible moments in a waiting room for public health.
