The Football Observatory of the International Center for Sports Studies (Cies Football Observatory) published, on Thursday (10), a list of the 100 best goalkeepers in the world in the last year. The best -placed Brazilian is João Ricardo, from followed by Lucas Perri, do Lyone Weverton from Palmeiras.
Top Top-100 still appear Johnfrom Botafogo and Hugo Souza, of Corinthians, ahead of Alissongoalkeeper of Liverpool and the Brazilian National Team. Complete the Brazilian presence in the list Tiago Volpifrom Grêmio, Cassiofrom Cruzeiro, Lucas Chavesto panitolycos-egrega, e Leo Gardenfrom Vasco.
The CIES ranking podium is formed by PSG Gianluigi Donnaruma, Yann Sommer, from Inter Milan, and Real Madrid’s Thibaut Courtois.
The survey considers only the National League games played between 31/03/2024 and 31/03/2025, ie, does not include matches of Libertadores, Champions League or teams, for example.
