Bolsonaro says Silas Malafaia “does not understand Parliament”

Former President rebates criticism from the pastor to Hugo Motta and says it is not resolved everything “at the base of the blow” in Congress

The former president (PL) stated on Wednesday (9.abr.2025) that “You don’t know how a parliament works”. Speech was a reference to the criticism made by the pastor, leader of the Assembly of God Victory in Christ, to the President of the House of Representatives (Republicans-PB).

He is an evangelical leader, but did not have the experience I had: 28 years as a deputy, 2 as councilor and 4 in the presidency. It is not possible to solve things on the basis of the blow,” said the former president in an interview with Podcast Direct from Brasilia.

During a speech in an act held on Sunday (6.abr), at av. Paulista, in São Paulo, Malafaia stated that Motta “The honorable people of Paraíba”. According to him, the president of Casa Baixa would have guided party leaders not to sign the urgent request of the project that proposes amnesty those involved in the acts of January 8.
