On Thursday, Israel released a 23-year-old Palestinian who was in prison since he was 13 years old at an accusation of an attack by a knife on two Israelis aged 13 and 20. Manaser’s cousin shot

Mental health in prison
Manaser’s lawyer repeatedly asked his mandate to be dismissed earlier because of deteriorating mental health. However, the Military Court refused these applications.
For years, Manasra’s release has also asked Palestinian human rights groups and activists who pointed out that he was wrongly treated in Israeli prison. Schizophrenia, psychosis and severe depression were diagnosed during imprisonment.
According to the human rights organization Amnesty International, psychiatrists said that his imprisonment was endangered by his health, but the Israeli prison service continued to renew his solo.
