Ja Moant, a star of Memphis Grizzlies, celebrated with another controversial gesture by hitting a throw in the match against Charlotte Hornets last Tuesday (8). The shipowner simulated playing a grenade in the crowd that watched the confrontation at the Spectrum Center.
The gesture was made at the beginning of the third quarter, shortly after marking a three -point basket at the time the team was ahead on the scoreboard.
The player had previously been fined $ 75,000 (about $ 375,000) for imitating a gun with his finger for the second time, during dispute with Miami Heat, earlier this month. He was warned by the NBA because of the “celebration”, considered inappropriate, but did not hesitate to repeat it.

Morant was suspended for 25 without remuneration games in March 2024, after appearing for the second time displaying a firearm on live broadcast on social networks.
The first incident came in 2023, when the athlete was in eight suspension games, in a similar episode, when he was drunk on a live pistol, during a party in a Denver nightclub.
“I’ve been practically a villain for two years now. Any little thing, if someone can say something negative about me, will appear around. So, yes, I don’t care anymore,” said the player after the repercussion of the case.
