Lula calls the IMF Director-General of “Woman”

The president (PT) called the director general of the IMF (International Monetary Fund), Kristalina Georgieva, “Little woman”. Did not mention her nominally.

The petista told when he went to Hiroshima (Japan) in 2023 to the G7 summit. According to him, at the time, the president of the monetary authority said that “the thing is difficult for Brazil” and that the country would only grow 0.8%. He therefore said that she didn’t even know him.

Brazil will only grow 0.8%’. I said, ‘You don’t even know me, I don’t know you, you know? How do you say that Brazil will grow 0.8%? ‘ And the answer came at the end of the year, Brazil grew 3.2%”he declared.

The president’s speech was during the opening ceremony of the 29th (International Construction and Architecture Fair) and the 100th edition of ENIC (International Construction Industry Meeting) and generated criticism in social networks.
