The vast majority of parliamentarians advocate, but diverges to which, according to a survey conducted by the institution ranking of politicians.
The survey listened to 111 federal deputies of 18 parties and 26 senators of 11 parties on March 19 and 20, respecting the criterion of party proportionality.
According to the survey, 85.5% of deputies and 92.4% of senators say it is necessary. Nevertheless, just over half of the deputies (53.1%) think this happens in this legislature, compared to 80.8% of senators.
There is also divergence about what should be included in the ceiling. For 46.8% of deputies and 46.2% of senators, all earnings should be included. Already 38.7% of deputies and 46.2% of senators evaluate that not all benefits would need to be on the ceiling, only a few specific. And 14.5% of deputies and 7.6% of senators think aid and bonuses should remain out of the ceiling.
For Juan Carlos Arruda, director-general of the ranking of politicians, this point is still an obstacle in the negotiations. Technical analysis of the study indicates that the approval of a regulation with many exceptions can compromise the effectiveness of the proposal.
“Brazilian society no longer tolerates cool privileges of reality. It is time for Congress to respond to height. The research showed that it has formed consensus for the approval of the subject,” he says.
