The president of, (-PB), indicated to deputies that will soon guide the cancellation of Chiquinho Brazão (without party-RJ), accused of killing the councilwoman ().
The gesture would be a way to signal balance, after the Ethics Council approved, on Wednesday (9), his case arrived at the board in April 2024 and will also need to be taken to the plenary, but funds are still fitting.
Chiquinho Brazão has been arrested for over a year – as much as his brother, Domingos Brazão. The opinion for the revocation of his mandate was approved last August.

PSOL even asked the ministers (House) and (institutional relations) to intercede for Glauber, but the two were unsuccessful in the contract with the House. The leader of, Lindbergh Farias (RJ), and PSOL leader, Talíria Petrone (RJ), tried to call Motta throughout the afternoon, but he did not answer the calls, nor responded to the messages.
Glauber has announced that he will strike hunger until the end of the case in the House, and will resort in all possible ways.
PSOL claims to have persecution of its deputy. Talíria says the process is unfair and attacks not only Glauber, but the entire Brazilian left. She says the party will resort to the Supreme Court (STF).
Glauber also accuses the former mayor (PP-AL) to have articulated for the loss of his term with the deputies and the rapporteur.
“Anyone who wants to call hunger strike, call how, but I will maintain a non-surrender action to the secret budget and Arthur Lira and company,” added the deputy, a stretch critic of the former president of the House.
In a statement, Lira highlighted Glauber’s aggression and said that “it is from this very serious accusation that the parliamentarian should be defended, which was represented by me or by my party, but by the new party.”
“For my part, I vehemently refute this illegitimate accusation on the part of Deputy Glauber Braga and I point out that any insinuation of the practice of irregularities, disagreed with any specific evidence that supports it, will give rise to the adoption of appropriate judicial measures,” he said.
