Schwechat-Austria’s handball women took a first, important step towards the 2025 World Cup on Thursday. In the qualification play-off first leg, team boss Monique Tijsterman’s team in Schwechat struggled against Turkey for a long time, but finally celebrated a clear 36: 29- (13:13) success thanks to a strong finish.
