Carlos Freitas, general director of Novibet in Brazil, said that the regulation of the betting sector brings transparency and comfort to consumers. The statement was made in an interview with the podcast of Poder360 During Bis Sigma Americas, in São Paulo (9.ab.2025).
“I am in favor of regulation, with clear rules, with well -defined limits, with well -defined areas, which is a reality that exists in other countries, including 1st world, and that have no impacts so negative on society.”said Freitas.
The Executive evaluates the quality of the Brazilian regulatory process positively, but with caveats: “The regulation itself was a well done process, but there is no perfect system. We can draw several scenarios on a paper, but it is the day to day that will give us the result or reflection of this scenario.”
