The São Paulo City Secretariat foresees a savings of R $ 45.2 million in 25 years with the (public-private partnership) for the construction and maintenance of five (Unified Educational Centers) sustainable in the capital.
The forecast appears in a feasibility study conducted in 2022, during the project bidding. Integral, a concessionaire that won the dispute to build the five CEUs, foresees investments of R $ 413.164 million during the 25 years. The city will invest around R $ 1.5 billion in the five centers in the period.
The first of the skys, called King Pelé and located in the Jardim Santa Maria neighborhood, in the East Zone, will be delivered this Thursday (10). The teaching center will have solar energy and turn into electricity, and antennas to minimize the possibility of falling the internet signal, as well as 199 cameras that will monitor all environments for 24 hours.
The City of São Paulo foresees implementing 12 new heavenrs in the capital by 2028. The other four heavens foreseen in the 1st lot by PPP are located in Cidade Ademar, Ermelino Matarazzo, Grajaú and Emperor.
“The PPP model to build new equipment was the result of conversations with the sector to raise the excellence of our CEUs while we reduced the municipal cost,” says the municipal secretary of education, Fernando Padula. “With this measure and resources available, we can improve investments on other pedagogical fronts and advance in public literacy policies.”
