American classic chicken buffalo He owes its name to the town in the state of New York, from which it comes. Today, this dish is popular throughout the United States. Most often they are prepared without breading, although this variant is closer to our native tastes. The taste of this dish will perfectly emphasize cheese -based sauce with blue mold, mayonnaise, cream, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and garlic. Certainly everyone will eat.
Ingredients for Buffalo wings:
- 1 kg of chicken wings,
- about 200 g of wheat flour,
- salt, freshly ground pepper (to taste),
- 150 ml of Frank’s Red Hot sauce (or similar sauce based on cayenne peppers),
- 60 g of butter,
- vegetable oil (for frying),
- Celery (for administration).
Ingredients for DIP:
- 100 g cheese with blue mold,
- 1½ tablespoons of mayonnaise,
- 3 tablespoons of cream,
- ½ teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce,
- 1 teaspoon of mustard,
- 1 small clove of garlic,
- Pepper (to taste).
Rinse the chicken wings, dry with a paper towel and divide into 3 parts. Put on ailets (use it for another purpose, e.g. to prepare the broth). Combine the butter with cayenne peppers in a saucepan. Heat on a slow fire (for melting butter) and mix.
Combine flour, salt and pepper in a bowl. Coat the wings in flour and fry them with a large amount of oil heated to 185 ° C. Fry each batch in golden color (10-15 minutes). Put the fried wings into a paper towel so that it absorbs excess fat. Then immerse them for a moment in a hot sauce of cayenne peppers.
Serve the Buffalo chicken with pieces of celery and cheese dip with blue mold. To prepare it, crumble or chop the cheese with blue mold. Chop the peeled clove of garlic. Combine all the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl and blend (it does not have to be completely homogeneous).
