Greenhouses allow you to provide good conditions for vegetables, herbs and thermophilic fruits. Thanks to this we can enjoy faster and larger collections. Similar effects can be given to both a greenhouse in the yard and such made almost for free.
You need only a few things to build a miniature greenhouse. Prepare:
- empty water bottle, preferably 5 l or 10 l
- Universal land for vegetables
- Upholstery knife or scissors
- ruler
- Flamaster
- Selected seeds or cuttings
Depending on how you use the bottle, a pot may also be needed, in which, for example, chives are planted, but this can also be done using the bottom of the bottle. In this type of small greenhouse you can plant whatever you want.

To start with, unscrew the cap from the bottle and put the bottle on the table. Then, using a ruler or “at the eye” measure the distance of 10 – 15 cm from the bottom of the bottle (keep the upper limit for chives and other bulbs, sowing the seeds, you can keep 10 cm). Then select this value on the bottle with a felt -tip pen, drawing a line all over the bottle circle. Cut the bottle in this place – The easiest way to do it with an upholstery knife, but the scissors will also manage.
The bottom part of the bottle can be used as a pot, you can also use a regular pot. Selected herbs or vegetables into the container of the islands. Then cover them with the upper part, do not throw away the nut, sometimes you can unscrew it to reduce the temperature in the middle of your miniature greenhouse. Such a construction can be put on a windowsill or balcony.
