TJDFT may suspend election of the post -question network – 09/04/2025 – Panel

The Federal District Court of Justice (TJDF) determined that the direction of delivered a list of documents proving that there was no fraud in the process of choosing the delegates able to vote in the election that will elect the new presidency of the acronym.

The lawsuit was filed by the national coordinator of the network, Giovanni Mockus, who is also responsible for the 6th National Party Congress, where the election will take place on Saturday (12). In the request, he asks for access to the list of voting delegates at the meeting.

According to the lawsuit, before entering court, Giovanni had the request denied by the acronym, on the grounds that, to avoid manipulations, the data would not be shared directly. The negative hurts its statutory attributions, which include the supervision of event preparations.

In demonstration to the TJDFT, the party claimed that it created a website with public information and that documents with personal data can be consulted in person. It also claimed that the official list of delegates is not yet finalized, as some state conferences have not been approved.

The leader filed a spreadsheet to court indicating that part of the documents was not made available and requested an injunction to suspend Congress until the complete disclosure of the Electoral College, with a minimum period of 15 days between the publication and the beginning of accreditation.

Judge Pedro Matos de Arruda’s decision is for the defendants to present the requested documents until 6 pm on Wednesday (9), otherwise the election held in Congress may be annulled.

On another front, Judge Cleber de Andrade Pinto, the Court of Justice of the Federal District and the Territories, denied a request made by allies of Marina to cancel a meeting held in December 2024 that resulted in the creation of the National Electoral Commission.

They argued that the commission “usurped competences of the previously constituted coordinates and was composed exclusively by members of the party’s majority wing, without respecting the proportionality provided for in the statute.” In addition, they maintained that the convening of the meeting had been irregular.

In the decision, the magistrate stated that the questions about the organization and operation of the parties “must be resolved internally, through discussion and debate among their members, respecting the mechanisms of democratic decision established by the Statute of the Assaction itself.”
