An incident involving fireworks hit the public awaiting the presentation of the country duo Munhoz and Mariano During the closure of the Nioaque Festival Rodeo, on the night of last Tuesday (8), in Nioaque, in Mato Grosso do Sul.
The fireworks, held at the beginning of the rodeo performances, hit the stands and left at least three people superficially injured. The victims were treated at the scene and one of them had to be sent to the hospital, according to the City Hall.

In a statement, the City Hall of Nioaque regretted what happened and said it had immediately provided the victims, noting that the event was private, with cultural support and cultural support.
The space where the rodeo was held – the old cybrazem – belongs to the city hall. In addition, there was a financial contribution of R $ 100,000 passed on by Casa da Criança and R $ 120 thousand from the State Government to present the duo Munhoz & Mariano on the last day of the festival.
The artists team clarified that the fireworks were not fired during the duo’s show, nor by members of their team.
In an official note, they stressed that the security of the public, the team and the artists is a priority, and were informed about the incident the next day. After assisting the victims, the show took place normally.
