Ondrej Krivuš became a new member of the Council for Media Services (RPMS). He was elected for a shortened term of office until 13 January 2027. The result of the elections was announced in plenary.
RPMS is a state administration body with nationwide competence. It shall supervise compliance with the broadcasting, retransmission, providing audiovisual media services on request and providing platforms for content sharing.
The Council has nine members. It is elected and dismissed by Parliament after a public hearing of candidates. The mandate of RPMS member is six years old. The same person can be chosen as a member for a maximum of two terms.
