Zé Adriano and Antônia Lúcia refuse to sign a list of the amnesty project and annoy Bolsonarists

Federal Deputies José Adrano (PP-AC) and Antônia Lúcia (Republicans-AC), two of the four members of the Acre federal bench who did not signs the list of parliamentarians who ask for urgency in the vote of the bill that amnesty the convicts and nominated for the attempted coup and vandalism on January 8, 2023, played a bucket of cold water in the leaders of the Acrean right. Thursday (10), asking them to integrate the list.

Missing exactly 17 signatures so that the application for urgency can reach the regimental mark of 257 applicants-the absolute majority of the 513 deputies-so that the bill is directly sent to vote on the election of the house’s presidency and debates in the commissions, each parliamentarian has been hunted by former President Jair Bolsonaro, under the leadership of Deputy Sostenes Cavalcante (PL-RJ).

If the regimental number is reached and the project is voted on an urgent basis and, approved, its effects besides nullifying the convictions of the prisoners by the acts of the 8th of Jansers and other accusations of preparatory acts for the coup in order to overthrow the elected government in 2022, would pave the way for the revocation of Jair Bolsonaro’s ineligibility imposed by the Superior Electoral Court (TSE). Therefore, the commitment of Bolsonaro’s allies in the National Congress.

From Acre, their names have already put their names in the lists Colonel Ulysses Araújo and Eduardo Veloso, from UB, Roberto Duarte, from Republicans, and this Thursday also signed Zezinho Barbary, from Progressives.

When sought, José Adriano and Antônia Lúcia said they would not sign the urgent request for the guidance of the leadership of their parties.

The case caused Bolsonaro supporters strangely because, from the progressive bench, 36 deputies, including Barbary, signed the list. In addition, the national president of the acronym, Senador Ciro Nogueira (PI), has been making a real campaign for the urgent request to reach the regimental number.

In the case of Antônia Lúcia, what most annoyed the Bolsonarist leaders was the same excuse as the guidance of party leadership, being her fellow bench, Roberto Duarte, was one of the first signatories of the document, and even her husband, also federal deputy Silas Câmara, elected by the Amazonas, also of Republicans, signed the document.

“I will talk to her,” promised Silas Câmara regarding his wife’s signature.
The other deputies of the Acrean bench, Socorro Neri (PP) and Meire Serafim (UB), who make independent terms, were not sought by the pockets.

Behind the scenes of Congress, as the list of deputies approaches the regimental number necessary to approve the amnesty, also intensify the actions of the government support bench, under the leadership of the Minister of Institutional Relations, Gleice Hoffman, so that parliamentarians who already sign the document, to remove their signatures.

The next weekend will be decisive for the future of the amnesty proposal. If the 257 signatures are not achieved, the proposal will be buried in the regimental bureaucracy of the Cámara.
