The House Ethics Council approved, on Wednesday (9), the request for the revocation of Federal Deputy Glauber Braga (PSOL-RJ). Now, the house plenary should analyze the case and decide whether or not to lose the mandate of the parliamentarian.
There is no date set for the deliberation in plenary, and the proceedings must last, since Braga intends to appeal the decision in the Chamber’s Constitution and Justice Commission (CCJ).
If the CCJ accepts the deputy’s appeal, the process is filed. If the appeal is rejected, the case goes to the vote in the House Plenary. In the plenary, it is necessary to support the absolute majority of the deputies, that is, at least 257 favorable votes, so that the

At the time, Glauber and influencer Gabriel Costenaro discussed inside the House. The deputy kicked out Costenaro from the building with jerks and kicks, with the confusion dragging to the street (see the video below).
A representation against the parliamentarian was presented in April last year by the New Party. The caption argued at the time that Glauber threatened to assault the MBL member if he tried to enter the annex again.
Last week, the action rapporteur at the House Ethics Council, Paulo Magalhães (PSD-BA), gave his opinion favorable to the cancellation of his colleague’s mandate.
The rapporteur claimed that the PSOL deputy’s push and kicks were proven by videos and that Costenaro did not react, and was beaten outside the House’s premises.
“The probative instruction in these records revealed practice by the represented of procedure incompatible with parliamentary decorum. The congressman is required to adopt irowable conduct, since the public interest does not accept slips in his performance,” said the rapporteur.
