Easter grandmother It is actually a symbol of Easter – it is difficult to imagine this unique celebration without it. Tradition said that a failed grandmother meant compromise for the hostess. Of course, we have a definitely looser approach to this today, but undoubtedly everyone wants to taste the best version of the Easter delicacy.

This traditional dessert has different views, but each of them has something special about it. The most classic ideas are of course yeast, soaked or sand grandmothers. In turn, lovers of culinary experiments focus on slightly more original pastries, such as Ayerconiak, rainbow or pistachio grandmother. Especially the latter is currently popular.

This time we want to go a step further and find a compromise ideal for lovers of grandmothers and cheesecakes – can these two pastries be combined with each other? Of course. The two option melting in the mouth simply impresses. Check our recipe for cheesecake.

Cake ingredients:

  • 3 cups of wheat flour, additionally 2 tablespoons,
  • 4 tablespoons of potato flour,
  • 4 eggs,
  • 220 g of fine sugar,
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder,
  • 4 tablespoons of dark cocoa,
  • 200 g of butter,
  • 250 ml of water.

Ingredients for cheese mass:

  • 400 gwear from the bride,
  • 2 eggs,
  • 5 tablespoons of white sugar,
  • vanilla sugar,
  • 100 g of butter,
  • 1 packet of vanilla pudding.

Decoration:

  • powdered sugar or dessert chocolate.

Start by preparing the dough. Mix the sifted flour with baking powder, set aside. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Separate yolks from proteins. Place the proteins in a bowl and beat them into a stiff foam, consolidating with sugar. Then add one yolk and beat on so as to get a fluffy, bright mass. Reduce mixer speed and alternately add melted butter, water and flour. Finally, divide the dough into two parts. Add cocoa to one and 2 tablespoons of wheat flour to the other. Mix everything together.

Now prepare the cheese mass. Grate the soft butter with sugar and eggs to a fluffy mass. Then add cheese (one spoon) and pudding powder. Mix to combine the ingredients.

Prepare a form for a grandmother with a chimney inside. You can use a metal mold, grease with butter and spil on flour or silicone. Inside the 24 cm diameter mold, first pour light dough, then dark and finally cheese. Lay out the masses alternately.

Put the mold in the oven preheated to 160 ° C and bake for about 60 minutes to a “dry stick”. Remove the finished cottage cheese from the oven, cool and remove from the mold. Serve with any decorations.
