TJDFT accepted Heloísa Helena’s appeal to have the National Party Congress that will decide the new spokesman for the acronym
The (Federal District and Territories Court) accepted on the night of this Thursday (10.ab.2025) appeal that allows the 6th National Congress from 11 to 13 April. At the event, the party’s internal election will be held to choose the new national spokesman for the acronym. The appeal came from the wing of the current party commander, Heloísa Helena. The information was confirmed to Poder360.
Earlier, Judge Fábio Eduardo Marques, from the 5th Civil Class of the TJDFT, the holding of the Congress for indefinition about the composition of the electoral college, which would represent the risk of an irreversible expense of R $ 1 million in public resources.
The decision complied with a request from Giovanni Mockus, a network candidate and supported by the minister (environment). According to him, there is a suspicion of evidence of fraud in state conferences.
Heloísa Helena is part of a wing of the network different from Marina’s wing. The current national spokesman for the party defends the name of Paulo Lamac, secretary of institutional relations of Belo Horizonte, to the command of the acronym.
The clash between Marina and Heloísa has 2 central points:
- The 1st is the type of line that each one adopts, since Marina defends the “sustainability” line and Heloísa, “ecosocialism”, which associates environmental preservation with the transformation of the economic system;
- The 2nd point is the relationship with the federal government. Marina is Minister of the Environment of the President (PT). Heloisa has been critical to the PT since 2003, when he was expelled from the party after going against the pension reform in the 1st term of the petista. In the 2022 election, for example, the current spokesman supported (PDT) candidacy for the Presidency of the Republic.
