A Gnr e psp This Friday starts the operations “Easter 2025” e “Always present police: Easter in security 2025”, respectively, and will take place until April 21 throughout the national territory, they advanced in a statement.
Last year, during the operation, PSP registered, in its area of liability, 1,352 accidents, of which a dead, 377 minor injured and 15 serious injuries resulted.
As part of the operation, PSP will bet on the most influx areas of people, with special prominence in large urban centers, namely commercial, tourist zones and public transport interfaces.
It will also pay special attention to safety and surveillance with night fun centers given the possibility of increasing movement of young students due to interruptions of school activity.
In the note, PSP also warns of the care to be taken in the prevention of Thefts in residence.
“During periods of absence of residence (even for short periods of time), families should ensure that doors and windows are well locked, and should not publicize these absences before or during them, namely through social networks,” says PSP.
PSP will also carry out the control and safety of air borders, in airport security, as well as in road enforcement with access to the main disturban road axes and with the public transport interfaces.
The GNR operation intend Combat Crime and contribute to Reduction of road accident during the festivities.
The GNR advises “careful, cautious and defensive” driving, recommending drivers to fit speed to weather conditions, road state and volume of road traffic, avoid maneuvers “that may result in embarrassment for traffic” or somehow may originate accidents.
