Model Cessna 310 left Raton Boca Airport towards Tallahassee airport when she had mechanical problems; Police did not report the cause of the accident
A 310 Cessna, a small plane, crashed this Friday (11.abr.2025) in Boca Raton, Florida City (United States). Local police confirmed the death of the 3 people who were in the aircraft, as well as an injured that was near the scene of the accident, which was taken to the hospital and is not at risk of life.
The flight left Raton Boca Airport and went to Tallahassee Regional Airport, the state’s main. FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) did not report the cause of the accident, only that Cessna had mechanical problems. The plane crashed around 11:20 am (Brasília time).
In one, FAA said it will continue to investigate the case with the National Transport Security Council (NTSB). Boca Raton police reported in an X (former Twitter) that viaducts near the region will be banned until “A near future”.
Boca Raton Fire Department assistant chief Michael Lasalle and Mayor Scott Singer spoke to journalists shortly after the accident. According to the channel, the authorities expressed condolences to the families of the victims, who were not informed by the police.
“In the name of the city of Boca Raton, we express our sadness for this tragic loss of lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with families and all affected by the dead. […] In times of tragedy, I am grateful for the spirit and care that are so strong in our community, so that we can help all affected to overcome it as soon as possible ”said Lasalle. He also thanked local professionals for containing the fire caused by the crash of the plane.
