Former President Jair Bolsonaro said on Friday (41/4) that he is hospitalized at Rio Grande Hospital in Natal after experiencing severe abdominal pain during the agenda he was fulfilled in the interior of the state. The statement published on Instagram.

Bolsonaro stated that his picture is stable and that, according to doctors, a new surgical intervention should not be necessary. “Thank God, my picture is stable and I keep recovering, without fever and with good clinical evolution. The last information we have is that, for now, there is no need for new surgery,” he said.

He concluded by saying that he intends to resume visits to the electoral bases of all Brazilian regions. “With the help of doctors and God’s protection, I will soon be back, ready to resume my mission to go through the five regions of the country. We follow firmly. With seriousness, confidence and much faith in God,” he wrote in the post.
