Liqueur tips – a confectionery classic that smells of retro nostalgia and yet has a lot to offer today. Once the stars of every self -service, today a slowly disappearing legend. But thanks to the home version in the glass you can remember this famous dessert in a completely new form. Softer, more elegant and without having to handle confectionery craft.
The base remains the same – chocolate, butter cream and alcohol. Only instead of a small tent’s corpus and a rigid icing that was breaking with every bite, you get a fluffy foam, chocolate cream and a supple foundation, all beautifully laid in a glass.
“There are several advantages. You do not have to look for a special decorating tip, it is not so hard to catch the perfect consistency of the cream for spraying and the glass will also fit more eggs,” says the finalist of the whole country Tereza Olbrichtová.

Modern concept of liqueur tip combines chocolate body, which can be replaced by biscuits or crushed biscuits and cream made of butter, sugar, eggs and of course drops of quality liqueur. You do not have to stick to just traditional rum, feel free to try egg cognac, almond liqueur or coffee. The cream is whipped in fine, converting into a glass and the whole dessert is allowed to cool down nicely.
Chocolate icing is the conclusion, but even here you can enjoy more freedom. Instead of a hard confectionery glaze, use melted chocolate with a drop of cream – a smooth, glossy layer adds dessert for luxury and is beautifully gained with a spoon. On top of a few shavings of chocolate, candied cherry or just a pinch of cocoa and a small miracle is finished.

You can prepare the glasses more in stock and hide in the fridge. It lasts for several days, but it is quite likely that it will disappear before you can say “retro”.
