Singer and songwriter Gilberto Gil brings to São Paulo Time Kingyour farewell tour of the great presentations. The first show took place this Friday (11) at Allianz Parque. Gil will also perform on Saturday, 12, and on April 25 and 26. Gil is expected to take 150,000 people in the four days of presentations. There are still tickets for some sectors and cabins (see information below).
In this tour, Gil focuses on songs that released between the 1960s and 1980s. The list includes his great career hits, as Stage, Time King, Let’s run away, Don’t cry anymore e Faith. The singer also makes room for songs that have long been out of his performances, among them, Security Rock, If I want to talk to God e We need to see the moonlight.
The surprise is the special guests that Gil has called each presentation. In Salvador, where the tour debuted, the singer received Margareth Menezes and Baianasystem. In Rio de Janeiro, the elected were Caetano Veloso, Marisa Monte, Lulu Santos and Anitta. In São Paulo, the expectation is that singer Maria Rita will appear on stage to sing with Gil.
