Man stoned car patrol, part glass at Braga’s squad and hurts police

PSP carries out searches in Porto and Gaia in an operation to combat drug trafficking

The incident happened this morning. In his possession, the man had “a bag of stones and a kitchen knife” with which he injured the operating supervisor at the command of the Braga PSP that was going out of service.

Braga’s PSP accounts for a busy morning this Saturday. A man, who will be of foreign nationality, in the meantime arrested, stoned a patrol car, departed from the “1st Squad Service Office” and “the command door”, and injured a police with a white weapon.

After stoning a patrol car “Departing the windshield glass and the right front glass, the 1st squadron service was also departed and two glass gateway,” says PSP.

“In his possession,” says PSP, “had a stone bag and a kitchen knife with which he wounded, superficially, the Operational Supervisor in the command of Braga PSP who was going out of service.”

The individual, whose identity or age is unknown, was then “handled and detained”, and the injured police had to receive treatment.

Disorder next to the academic bar in Braga

During the early hours of Saturday, reports the PSP of Braga, on a street “Next to the Academic Bar” was a disorder involving about 20 individuals.

INEM was called to the scene, where “he watched an individual victim of severe aggression with a white weapon”, which was eventually transported to Braga Hospital.

According to the Braga PSP, the group of five suspects, of which the aggressor includes, “they had an uncertain escape.”

As for the victim’s state of health, Braga PSP says the prognosis is uncommon, “because it will have collapsed several times.”

The case was, however, communicated to the Public Prosecution Service and the Judicial Police.
