The minister of the (Federal Supreme Court) authorized on Friday (11) house arrest for Aildo Francisco Lima, arrested for involvement in the attacks of January 8, 2023. He made a live during the invasion of the court in the Moraes chair.
The defense asked for the defendant for the defendant’s provisional freedom, which the minister considered unachable.
By the decision, the defendant will have to wear an electronic anklet, it is prohibited from wearing social networks, communicating with others involved, giving interviews to any communication vehicle and receiving visits except lawyers, parents, siblings and spouse.
In his decision, Moraes stated that, as the production of evidence for the process has already been completed, there is no more possibility of interference from Aildo at this stage, which once justified the precautionary arrest.
In addition, the minister authorized the defendant’s visit to his father, Sebastião Francisco Lima, who is hospitalized in an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) of a hospital in Jundiaí in severe health. The authorization is for terrestrial travel between Sunday (13) and Monday (14).
Aildo was, in extent maintained in six decisions.
He is responsible for the accusations of violent abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law, coup, damage qualified by violence and serious threat, the use of flammable substance, against the union’s assets and considerable damage to the victim and deterioration of the overturned assets.
Moraes also stated in the decision this Friday, that as the defendant has been arrested for 1 year, 6 months and 13 days, in a possible final conviction with the beginning of the execution of penalty, he could claim the right to remission of 155 days of penalty.
Aildo read in prison, according to the São Paulo Secretariat of Penitentiary Administration, three books, took vocational courses by Sebrae, such as marketing, accounting, electrical and hair designer and made the Encceja (National Exam for Certification of Skills for Youth and Adults).
