Italian Lorenzo Musetti, number 16 of the world, defeated Australian Alex de Minaur, 10th in the ranking, on Saturday (12/04), 2-1, and will dispute the decision of Masters 1000 in Monte Carlo against Carlos Alcaraz. The final takes place this Sunday (13/04), at 7am, with transmission from Disney+ and ESPN.

The decision is the largest in Musetti’s career so far. To get there, he had to hit Minaur by turn, with partials of 1/6, 6/4 and 7/6 (7/4) after 2h38min. The game was the tiray among the tennis players, now with the advantage of the Italian for two games by one.

Carlos Alcaraz, musetti’s opponent in this Sunday’s final, is the current third best in the world. It will be the sixth game among tennis players, with four games advantage to one for the Spaniard.
