Red Cross: Gaza is hell on earth. UN Alert for lack of water

14 min

The international red cross says the situation in Gaza is a “hell on Earth,” because of the humanitarian blockade imposed by Israel, who entered the sixth week. Humanitarian organizations on the ground warn of the lack of water, medicines, food and electricity, whose needs were worsened with the end of the ceasefire, decided by Telavive unilaterally. Israel says that the reoccupation of the Gaza Strip and the attacks against what it describes as “Hamas targets” are to continue until the hostages that continue at the hands of Islamists are recovered. But the UN Refugees High Commissioner (UNU) says that the indiscriminate attacks of Israel seem to indicate that the intention of the Israelites is to “deny the existence of Palestinians as a people.” The Hebrew state army destroyed part of a water conduct managed by Mekorot, the Israeli public water distributor, which depend on 70% of residents in the city of Gaza.
