A Series C 2025the third division of the Brazilian Championship, has its beginning this Saturday (12) with four clashes. There are 20 teams in search of Four vacancies for the second 2026. On the other hand, The four worst teams will be demoted for the D Series.
Unlike the two divisions above, Serie C does not have a unique round trip where everyone faces each other. After games in one shift, the top eight are divided into two groups and the first two of each key rise to Serie B.

Brazilian champion in the dispute
The only team that is in Tercena and has won the Serie A title is Guarani. Bugre beat the 1978 Brazilian Championship after the final against Palmeiras. Currently, the team will have the company of Ponte Preta, great rival of Campinas, in Serie C.
Teams that have already been in the elite
Some participants in Serie C have already been in the middle of giants in Serie A. In addition to the duo Campineira, CSA, Figueirense and Nautical vied for the Brasileirão of running points.
The rise of novices

Confidence and Ypiranga come close behind with 10 appearances. The Aracaju team went up to Serie B in 2019, but fell in the 2023 season. The Erechim team has played in Serie C since 2016.
