Many people have already begun their Easter, or Easter holidays, as they are known in other countries. However, two German women wanted to start them before and travel with their children, an idea that will be more expensive than they calculated.
In the early morning on Wednesday, agents of the border police of the German city of MemminGen discovered two violations of mandatory school attendance during the departure controls of a flight to Tel Aviv, Israel, as reported by the media .
A mother of Rhine-Palatinated with her eight-year-old son and another of Alta Baviera with her 13 daughter wanted to travel to Tel Aviv, although neither could show a proof of school exemption.
However, in both federated states of Germany, Holy Week holidays do not begin until Monday, April 14, so the responsible authorities were already informed and a fine procedure against the two women began.
According to the border police, passengers were allowed to continue their trip to Tel Aviv.
