The Secretariat of Awards and bets of the Ministry of Finance (SPA/MF) suspended, this Friday (11), the operation of four Brazilian sports betting companies, provisions. One of the affected is the The flabbyFlamengo’s betting house.
Flabet is part of Pixbet Soluções Tecnolócas Ltda., Which also owns other companies such as Pixbet and Bet of Luck.
In addition to them, the SA LOTERIES BOX (owner of Betcaixa, Megabet and Xbet Caixa), the 7MBR LTDA. (that of CBet) and TQJ-PAR SOCIAL PARTICIPATIONS SA (Owner of Baú Bingo, Tele Sena Bet and Bet of the million) also had their activities suspended.

Why were betting houses suspended by the government?
The companies were targeted by the Ministry of Finance for not meeting some requirements of the rules for regulating betting with fixed quota, for example, to stop certificates that are mandatory for acting in Brazil to be considered legal.
The determination makes companies prohibited from providing bets on their platforms for a maximum of 90 days. People who have money to withdraw will be able to access the websites normally.
In case, over this period, betting houses can regularize, they may work again normally. If this does not happen, they will be excluded from the Brazilian market, by cancellation of the provisional authorizations.
What is Flabet?
Flabet is a Flamengo sports betting site managed by Pixbet. The red-black platform was approved in August 2024 and was authorized to operate in Brazil in October of the same year.
On September 30, 2024, the Minister of Making Fernando Haddad stated that up to 600 sports betting sites would be banned for irregularities in Brazil.
Flabet’s debut as Flamengo’s master sponsor took place on April 9 this year, in the match against Central Cordoba for the second round of the Libertadores group stage.

Pixbet contract with Flamengo
Pixbet has been the red-black team’s master sponsor since 2024. It is expected that the partnership to income up to R $ 470 million by 2027 if it is working regularly.
