All three occupants were killed when the aircraft crashed on Boca Raton on Friday morning, according to local officials and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), ABCNews broadcasts.
The aircraft apparently had some mechanical problems and fell here at the Military Trail, “Michael Lasalle, assistant head of the Boca Fire Rescue Fire Department, said at a press conference. “There was also a car on the ground.”
A man in the car suffered injuries that do not threaten his life, Lasalle said.
Cessna 310R took off from Boca Raton Airport and headed to Tallahassee International Airport, FAA said. It was in the air for a little less than 20 minutes before it crashed, according to Flightradar24.
The video shows what seems to be the debris of the small plane on the railway lines next to a road, caused by the crash.
“Our thoughts and prayers are in families and all those affected,” said Boca Mayor Raton Scott Singer.
